We were all crammed into a little transport van and it was so curvy and I got super car sick and so did another Elder but it was all good fun! It was really neat we could see both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans! It was so green and so cool!! I loved it!
It was funny because we saw a group of gringos and we were talking to them and I was the only gringo in the zone that is not from Utah! hahaa it was funny :)

WEEK 49- UN TIEMPO QUE JAMAS OLVIDARÉ

Buenas!

Man was this week an amazing week!! It was so amazing and 3 of the days we had future missionaries leaving with and we were able to do divisions which basically means we had 2 companionships working in our area at one time! It was so cool!

This week we were able to meet with Hna Yohana who is a less active and her niece and nephew are investigators of ours that aren't exactly good with commitments but love when we pass by. We started reading the Book of Mormon with Hna Yohana to help her understand it a little better and so that she can start the habit herself but what is the coolest part is the Gissi and Emanuel always want to be there reading it with us! We have so much fun and learn so much together as we talk about and understand the stories together! Emanual always has so many questions and loves trying to interpret what it says its fantastic!

We have another investigator who didn't seem to positive at the beginning but towards the last lesson we had with her she accepted a date for baptism! It was great and she even read the Pamphlet that we left with her. The coolest part of that lesson was that we were able to talk a lot about the Atonement and the spirit was just so strong the even the noisy little kids that were there quieted down for that part. After that moment we invited her to be baptized and she accepted! The best part too was that I was with a young adult preparing for her own mission as my companion. It was so amazing!

This past Saturday and Sunday the stake had an awesome activity to get everyone pumped for missionary work! We were able to leave and do more divisions in our area with Ex missionaries and Future missionaries! we sadly weren't really able to get any RMs so we had so many future missionaries! It was amazing! Within the Zone we had put a series of goals for the weekend and there were Gold Silver and Bronze. To Win Gold you had to Have 22 lesson with member, 100 LPEs, 10 new investigators, and & investigators in Sacrament Meeting! It was amazing! Boyd and I Had 23 with member, 104 LPEs, 18 new investigators and 5 Investigators in sacrament meeting! It was only for the 2 days too! Just for Saturday and Sunday that we were able to complete these goals! The activity ended with a fireside and Prsident Carmack came and we were able to present our numbers to everybody and everybody was way excited to see the work our zone is doing! Hno Barrios and Frank his son came to Sacrament meeting and LOVED IT! When they walked through the doors the Joy I felt was almost too much and my eyes were a little teary! Boyd Actually started to cry and we were just so happy to see the blessings that the Lord is allowing us to experience. Hna Vargas even came to church without her Husband for the first time! It was such a beautiful thing to see!

This work is so beautiful and I am so grateful for being able to be just a small part of it. The Lord has a plan for each and everyone. This week was just another week of Miracles and rewards from the Lord.

The Church is True! Thank you all for your love and support and prayers!

Les quiero mucho!

WEEK 47- FUTURE ETERNAL FAMILIES

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone has been having a great week!

Me and my comp have been working hard and we have been finding so many more families! It has really been so amazing to see how prepared they are and how eager they are to learn! We have Familia Vargas, Familia Barrios, Familia Andersen, y Familia Fung! 4 FAMILIES!!! It is just such a beautiful thing!

This past week we had an amazing lesson with Fam Vargas on the Sabbath day and they finally set up an appointment to do their medical exams to get married AND THEY WENT AND GOT THEM!!!! They didn't end up going to church this past week which was extremely unfortunate but they got the exams and now we just have to put a date get them married and the dunk them!! WOOHOO!!

Fam Barrios are just so prepared! We had such an amazing lesson with them again last night and they just have so many questions and the spirit is always so strong when we teach them and they believe it all!! We are getting them to church this week because they are just missing that and bam! They will be in the water sooner than ever! It was really neat because with their lesson we had a recent convert come with us and right off the bat he talked about how the gospel changed his life and a miracle that passed with him! It was so beautiful to se how strong his testimony was and how much he loves the gospel and also man he is completely different now and so happy!

Fam Andersen are great and such a big family! The daughter loves to read and has read basically the whole pamphlet and wants to read the Book of Mormon! They are so positive and we were so happy to find them!! We will meet with them again tomorrow!!

Fam Fung we taught for the first time yesterday! They are so amazing! They were a reference from Fam Barrios! The sons were super open to what we had to share and the parents were interested but I feel like they were still a little closed.. No worries we will get to them I know it!

MY Sister Training Leader is going home a week early tomorrow... She got really sick and we think it has something to do with her gall bladder... She was so amazing and has helped learn a lot! I can't wait to apply all that she has taught me!! I had to stay with her in the house on Saturday but she endured all her pain to see an investigator enter into the waters of baptism! It was really neat!

I hope you all have such an amazing week and that you look at your eternal families and try to do something a little more to show them you love them and how much they really mean to you :) Families are eternal and I am so grateful for mine and all that I continually learn from them and all the support they give me.

Thank you all for the prayers love and support!
Les quiero mucho!

WEEK 46- Following the Spirit and Finding His children

Hiya! Hows it going? I hope everyone is enjoying the rainy and cool weather there at home!

This week was literally a week full of Miracles! Starting on Tuesday when We had a great lesson with a Recent Convert and met his older sister from San Blas! She was so great and so sweet and we reviewed the 1st lesson with them and they basically taught it all! After that we went to one out Less active member who really doesn't know anything about the church which is really sad but she is starting to go to church with us again and this week when we had our lesson with her she talked about how she has been talking about the church with her sister and her sister wanted to learn more too! We returned Thursday to have another lesson with Ana (the inactive) and her sister Florinda and Florinda accepted a date!! She wants to be baptized on March 5th and she even came to church with her 2 little kids! She is so cute and I am so excited because they both really love the church and they want to learn more!

Wednesday we had a conference where Elder Christensen of the 70 and his wife spoke along with Elder Alonso of the area presidency and his wife! I love these conferences because I always learn so much but something that they really focused on was our purpose as missionaries. We are to teach repentance and baptize converts. Every Invitation that we give and every commitment we extend is to help those we teach become closer to Christ and exercise the Atonement in their lives. It was just really so great and at the end they extended a Q&A and it was just the best! Such a spiritual boost!

Thursday we got back to work full force and we had a day packed with appointments or citas! It was fantastic and we had so many great lessons and found more people! We were contacting house after house after house! We found one new lady and were able to have lessons guided by the spirit. That night we also got to celebrate a day full of work with the being able to play a little volleyball with the Relief Society! It was so great we were basically a team of all gringas and it was a power house let me tell you!

Friday we had divisions and so I was working in another area but My comp was working in our area where she again had another day of miracles and where she found two new families to teach! We have our return citas with them tomorrow and I am so excited to meet them!

Saturday we had weekly planning and then we had the most amazing lesson with a family that is so prepared for the gospel!!! I am so excited for them! The spirit was so strong! They live on such a busy street where there are always so many cars passing by but during the lesson it was as if there was a barrier surrounding us and the cars were hardly ever there. They read the pamphlet which never happens and had questions that lead perfectly into the lesson! We spoke of the Restoration and in the end they believed it to be true. At the end we asked what they were feeling. The wife Liseth had the most beautiful smile on her face as she responded, I am just so happy right now and know this to be true.  We asked the husband Fredricko what he felt and he replied, I feel as though my eyes are being opened and I am finally receiving answers that I have always had and finding out things I never knew! I was so happy I almost cried! Fam Barrios have a baptismal date for March 5th Fredricko, Liseth, Sara, and Frank. A whole beautiful family and the reason I am here on a mission.

I am so grateful for this chance I have to be a missionary and to remember why I am here. The Church is true and the Atonement is real. It is not only for our sins but for our weakness as well. We always have to Savior walking right beside us in all we do and if we hold out our Hand we will find His waiting for us to grab a hold.

Thank you all for your love and support! I love you all so much and hope that you may also see all the miracles that you receive everyday!

Les quiero mucho!
