LLUVIA!

Alo Buenas!

Hey everyone! This week was another great one! First off winter has officially began oh bueno The wet season has officially begun! It started with a huge downpour Wednesday! We had just gotten back from the city (last rabie shot yay!) to eat some food and then get to work and bam! The rains came down and floods came up! Okay so there wasn't actually any floods buts man it was a ton of rain and it rained a long time too! We kind of got stuck in the house for a little while!

Tuesday we had division and they went really well! I got to get to know more of Chorrera and it a really neat province for sure!

Thursday was also super cool! We went to visit Fam Tejada with the Bishops wife and son! Little did we know that the Hna Frias (the bishops wife) knew Hna Tejada! Hna Frias was in the ward that Hna Tejada was baptized in when she was 14!They hit it off great and it was so perfect because they were able to form a bond with our investigators and they are now interested in their progress and will be coming with us again this week!

Saturday came the second down poor only this time we were actually walk to Lunch and needless to say we got drenched! It was so much fun! I love and missed the rain so much!! So we got drenched and then got to lunch creating puddles everywhere we went! hahaha Then after Lunch we went to the mission prep class because the teacher ask all the missionaries to come and bueno we were the only one! So then the entire class (12 young adults preparing for missions) All Traveled to our area and we showed them where some of our families were so they could go and invite each of them to a stake activity coming up! Man these kids were so prepared and they did it without fear! I wish I was like that before! They also would do street contacts and now we have a tons of jovenes that want to come back and check on the families they visited!

Moises is going to be baptized this week and we are so excited! He was very timid at first but every time he gets more and more comfortable and more confident as well!

Welp got to go hope you all have a fantastic week! Thank you soo much for the love and support and prayers! I love and miss you all!

The Blessing always come

Hey Everyone! This week was a fantastic week and was filled with so much stuff! Welp this has been a week full of blessings! Everything from actually seeing people in the areas so that we could meet our goals and also having some seriously delicious food!

As a missionary it is a commandment to open your mouth always. Now this has always been very difficult for me because really I never saw the benefits from when we did it... Now my eyes have been opened. We have been praying so hard for people be placed in our camino so that we may be able to meet our goals but also to be able to find new investigators. This week the more people we talked to the more lessons we were able to put. We felt like through out the day we were taking out so much time to just contact but really we had so many lessons as well. We set up an activity on Saturdays to play soccer so that we may be able to get some less active and more investigators getting to know where the church is and getting interested in what we teach. We share a message at the end and everything and we were really worried that no one would come but we have had a full game and everyone was able to enjoy it!

Personal blessing we received was such yummy food throughout the whole week to help us feel better and work hard! We got to go to the Temple Sunday morning and see the Panama Temple so full of member that there wasn't any room in the sessions and we only got to do initiatory! I was also able to see people from both my old areas that I haven't seen in such a long time and to get to catch up with them and see how they are doing! It was just so amazing!

Our investigator Moises has a baptismal date for the 30th and he is so excited! He goes to everything we invite him too and is starting to ask questions and is reading the Book of Mormon! We are so excited for him!

We are always blessed for being obediant! It is sometimes harder to see those blessings and to nderstand why we do it but there is always a reason and it is Always worth it! 1 Nephi 3:7

I love you all so much! Thank you for all your love and support! Have a fantastic week!

And we walked and walked and walked and walked

Alo Buenas Tardes!

I hope you all have had a fantastic week! I know I sure did but man was it exhausting!

First off I am new to the area so the goal is to get to know it right? Welp that turned into us going and exploring even more than Hna Thompson new as well! Bueno that means that we WALKED! Now I realize that I walk everyday and my entire mission I have always walked and walked but here is not just walking but more like hiking! Holy smokes! We don't have any paved roads! They are just dirt roads will rocks off all sizes sticking out of the ground. I literally cannot look up with out fear of falling on my face or twisting an ankle! hahah It was a lot of fun though to be able to explore even more of the area and to get to know our investigators! Here's a little list!

Fam Tejada- They are a family very special! They actually contacted the missionaries to come back and visit them! The mom is a member but inactive and wants to start coming back to church. Her husband isn't a member and is evangelico but super interested and even enjoys when we come by and share messages! The daughter LOVES IT! Everything about it she just loves it! She is always invting her friends over to listen to us and even though they may not be super interested she makes them listen! haha This past week we had a big noche de hogar with them and Danielis (the daughter) invited like 4 friends and then the abuelita loca (the crazy grandma) is also a member inactive and all came as well! Welp we were there in a super spiritual moment talking about the first vision and what not and how Christ told Joseph that none of the churches were true and the Abuelita loca just interrupts and says that none of us know which church is true or what to do and starts basically talking apostasy as we finish talking about the great apostasy! hahaha the best part was that Hna Tejada the whole time just kept saying "no mama they know which church is the true church" haha ya so long Spirit!

Hno Vargas- This guys is super cool! He is actually as of Sunday and Evangelico Preacher and we have had two lessons with him and each time we have such amazing discussions! For being so involved in his religion he really changes at the end of our lessons with him. He will always start of our lessons with some sort of sermon of his church but in the end always accepts what we say and quiets down and the spirit is always really strong. He invited us to go to church with him this Sunday haha then he said he was going to have to ask his pastor if he could come to church with us... We shall see what happens! He is super interested!

This week we also had to go to the mission offices twice because bueno my comp has to get rabi shots... She got bit by a mouse while she was sleeping! We have mice that like to visit in the night. We have already caught and killed two and we know they aren't living in the house because we have cleaned high and low but our back door has a little crack and like to sneak in that way for some easy food! No worries she is totally fine! The shots were just a precaution!

This last Saturday was Mormon Helping hands and that was a lot of fun! We painted a school! I got to repaint some old desks and a locker room bathroom woohoo! It was still a lot of fun and we got to do it all together as a stake which was another great way to get to know the members!

We also had a baptism on Saturday! Mario Antonio Garcia! He is 13 and super sweet he's not really my convert though I literally only met him twice before the baptism but I helped plan it and everything and he was just so happy and it was so great!

Thank you all for love and support and prayers! I love you all so much Have a fantastic week!

So long Tocumen....

Here are all the pics of me saying goodbye to my families and investigators that I have grown to love so much! The last one is one of my favorites with Hna Vargas crying when I told her I was leaving... Tocumen was such a blessing for me.

NEW CHANGES AND A NEW AREA!

Buenas!

How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing well! This past week has been a good one and a tough one! I had to say goodbye to some amazing investigators and an area that I loved and worked hard in but am now in another beautiful area de La Chorrera Altos de San Francisco! It is more old school and less like the city so its an interesting change! My new comp is the Hna Thompson from Las Vegas Nevada and she is just the sweetest! She has 3 months in the mission and makes me feel incredibly old but keeps me going! We were able to start working right away as soon as I got here so as far as the area goes I am just tryin to learn the area and the investigators! Hna Thompson is so sweet and so eager to learn which again makes me feel old but ni modo! We should be having a baptism this Saturday which is really exciting! I already love all our investigators!

We share the house with two other hnas too! Hna Loza (who is actually a good friend that I met in Tocumen! She's from Mexico) and Hna Denning (she is just starting out her mission and is so dear! She is from Sandy Utah) we all share a cute house I guess you could say but the best part about it all is that we get a long great! I love these girls so much!

How about Conference?! Wasn't it just amazing?! I absolutely loved it! It was a little sad the President Monson talked for so little but man am I grateful for him and all that he has taught me! This conference to me was super interesting in a way that I felt as though it was applying to me and what I have been focusing a lot on my mission. How can I be closer to Christ? I loved Elder Gongs talk and remembered when he spoke to us in the MTC! The ways that we can always remember Him was just so amazing! I also Thought it was great because it also focused (to me of course) on how we can listen to the spirit and act on Promptings. Conference this year was amazing as always! How lucky are we to be able to listen to our Prophets seers and revelators!

I hope you all have a fantastic week! I love you all so much! I am grateful for all you love support and prayers! Take care!

Les quiero mucho!
